We’re not sure about you, but when our children ask to have a sleepover, there’s always that initial fear of a sleepover disaster! However, by creating a fun and creative atmosphere, you’re sure to prevent any tears or tantrums and make it a night to remember!

Here are 5 ideas to help you host the cutest sleepover…

Tasty snacks

It’s always easy to go for the quick options when it comes to sleepover snacks – crisps, chocolate, popcorn… but why not mix it up a little with something a little healthier? Fruit kebabs are a fun and colourful way to feed your party. You could always add an extra treat and melt some chocolate for the kids to dip the kebabs in, or drip the melted chocolate over the kebabs once they’ve been prepped and put them in the fridge to set – delicious!

Personalised fun

You know we love anything personalised (just like our personalised beds!) – and we think a personalised pillowcase workshop is the perfect activity for a sleepover. Ask your guests to bring a plain white pillowcase with them to design and use paints, fabric pens or glitter to accessories each pillowcase and make it something they can keep and remember forever!

Say cheese!

DIY photo booths are a great way to capture happy memories and provide oodles of fun at sleepovers! You could create a fun backdrop with your child in preparation for the ‘big night’ and make it fun for both of you. Buy a couple of rolls of brown parcel paper and ask your little one to get creative and draw some pretty patterns to create a beautiful backdrop. We hope their friends remember to bring their best smile as well as their PJs!

Movie night

When your little ones have got over the initial excitement (and hype!) of being together for a sleepover, transform your living room into an at-home cinema ready for some quiet time. Shut the curtains, put on some fairy lights and play their favourite film. Why not make a yummy hot chocolate with some marshmallows as a treat to have before bed?

A cute night’s sleep

Another hurdle when it comes to sleepovers, is the sleeping arrangements! Make sure everyone is happy and comfortable, ready for a good night’s sleep with our super cute Snuggle Sacs – they come in a range of designs from fun fairies and ponies, to more subtle colours with stars and dots. That’s another job ticked off the list!
