 Snowflakes

To create some pretty paper snowflakes, you will need a piece of paper and some scissors – simple! You can fold the paper as many times as you like – once folded, you must cut away shapes along the edges, then you should carefully unfold the paper to reveal your snowflake! If you want to make them extra special, you can cover with glue and sprinkle with a little fairy dust (aka glitter!).

Potato stamping

Who would have thought a potato could make such beautiful Christmas designs? You must start by cutting your potatoes in half and carving out designs in it, and then ask your child to paint on their favourite festive colours and then stamp on to a piece of paper. To make them look extra Christmassy, take a black marker and draw around each shape with a black marker, and cut pieces of pipe cleaner, twist at the bottom and stick down to make it look like the string of a Christmas bauble.
